Darling…

She is two and darling!
It was HOT outside, too. I am getting back into the swing of things.
School is just around the corner and I am so sad.
Enjoy your last few days.
Summer is almost over….
I can’t believe the summer is almost over. Enrollment confirmation is next week and I am in denial.
I love summer break!
For those of you wondering where in the world I have been….I have been to the “motherland”. Colorado is where I go and hide out this time of year. I am back and thinking about the fall.
I am going to send out a newsletter this week opening up fall session dates.
I do have a date set for Tulsa and Dallas will be posted soon.
If you are interested in these locations, please email me to get you on the list, I do have a few spots open.
Until then, enjoy the colors of the crayola markers, folders, the little organizer things, the spiral notebooks, and the crayon aisles. I just love it.
Summer Camp…

Miss. A took a great cake decorating class this past week. She brought home some amazing creations.
My favorite was her sunflower and daisy. I loved these animals.
She had so much fun!
Loving the summer…

I love all of the fun new people I have met. Mr. H was adorable and we kept saying he needed a brimmed hat.
I loved the blue shirt with his beautiful blue eyes.
3 little monkey’s…

This is what I get from my own. It looks so great, but it took some bribing, yelling (yes, for those of you who don’t think I do it come and watch me photograph my own kids), and snowcones.
I do love the belly laughing one! This was my mother’s day present…letting me take their pictures.

Aren’t they so cute together? I can’t believe how big she has gotten. I took her two week pictures!
This is her 3 month old little brother. She is a great helper.
Beautiful…
Imagine having FOUR beautiful daughters.
They were a lot of fun.

They had the best personalities.
For those of you who I used to teach with….a couple of them attend your school.
Keep your fingers crossed you get them on your Core Team!
Happy Memorial Day.
The fall of 2009 my daughter and I had a great opportunity to go to France. We went to celebrate the marriage of my in-laws 50th anniversary, but I also got to retrace the steps of my grandfather’s journey through WWII.
He landed on Utah beach and then headed to other parts of France. He won an award for fighting in 5 major battles. He never really spoke of the war, but he did instill in his children and grandchildren the pride of living in the United States. I was able to go and visit various locations in France and the thing that surprised me the most was how shocking it was to see it all in color. I had never really thought of it before, but all of the footage that I have seen has always been in black and white. The countryside was beautiful and the oceans were as blue as the sky. I tried to imagine what it looked like when they were there. The red of the sea was one thing that my grandfather would tell us was something he would never forget.
I hope to get the opportunity to retrace my other grandfather’s route one of these days. He was stationed in Italy and Africa. He spoke often of the war and he has several photos that he has displayed in an album that documented his adventure. Both of my grandpa’s have passed away in the past few years. I will never forget what that generation of men and women did for our country. Please remember them today and EVERYDAY. Happy Memorial Day.

I loved the last one!
