My middle child is more of a come in at the tail end of things kind of kid.  He likes to do a few and then he is off.

My oldest, she can sometimes be a little bossy.  That is a direct quote from the youngest.  Really they could do it on their own, but I have to referee!

We baked cookies and then went to my grandmother’s 91st birthday.  She is the one person in my life who motivates me to work out.  She still plants a HUGE garden and gets the weeds out with a hoe.  I really don’t think I could keep up with her.

So I am BORED to death.  I have been trapping my kids.  Have I ever mentioned to you that my kids will not let me take their pictures????  It’s awful.  I usually have all of these cute outfits in mind, which they will not wear so I end up selling them on Ebay.

So the messed up hair, I have to settle for…

R has lost 8 teeth! This is what happens I guess when you are snowed in for days on end.

Come on R let me see your smile….

img_2476-copyYep, works every time.  Notice the silver tooth that I wish he would lose…he calls it his pirate tooth.  All of the moms at school were telling me that their son wants a pirate tooth.  I just tell them that is what happens when you let a two year old have apple juice in his sippy cup all day long!!!!

I do have more to post from the L man.  I will do that tomorrow.  I promised to do more of my personal life this year.  So here’s to personal!

I asked them, no I begged them to go outside and snap a few.  ”Mom, how many?”  No, they needed a number and they were counting as we were

taking them outside.  ”Mom, you only said 5.”

Then it came to the clothing…”Mom, we look silly in these clothes.”

It’s freezing outside, the snow was coming down and I had to get something for the dogs to wear!!!  Did I mention that Mr. B was at the station?  It was all me and probably a good thing because I don’t think he would have been in on this one either!

We lug the “ugly” chair as it is called at our house outside trying not to slip, position it under the spot, and I start snapping.  The dogs were even cooperating for that split second.  However, Miss. Maggie the black cat darts out from under the bush and the picture with the dogs is lost for good.  So I said, “Don’t worry, I can still take your pictures.”

So after about a million and one bribes this is what I ended up with!

They don’t know it yet, but I am going to try again tomorrow…the falling flakes kind of get in the way of what I was trying to do!

N.  She is so beautiful.  I love the blankie!

I just LOVE the Matilda Jane outfit she has on.  I went to lunch with my friend who sales Matilda Jane today! The new line is soooo precious.  I even found a cute jacket for me!

It comes out in the beginning of February.

I love that…because I have two sisters. It was so cold out that one of them said, “Mommy, it’s so cold I have cold splinters!” I thought that was so cute.  It was so true.  It did feel like splinters.
