I don't like to talk about myself so I put down things that others have said about me. I love what I do and I love continuing to better myself and trying new ideas in photography. I hope to keep this blog updated. This is where you will find sneak peeks for your sessions, random thoughts that I might have and sometimes even specials that I might be running. I am always in need of people to try out new locations for me. My kids won't cooperate anymore.

The title pretty much sums it up. I went to her house and we were looking for places to take pictures. I hadn’t been there in nine months and I walked into their livingroom and there was a NEW piece of art. I loved it. It would work for what we needed to do. The rug is hanging and it’s made out of men’s ties! Who would have thought.

This was a great family session. This little one is only 5 years old and she is so fun!
He is now four months old and can almost sit on his own! He is so strong. He sucks his fingers and his mom LOVED this image…druel included!

I was humming that Nora Jones song as I was writing this. I thought, “Hey, that fits perfect for a title.”
It’s bitterly cold here. I really want to go Christmas shopping, but I need a new funky hat! Isn’t that a silly excuse?
Maybe I will find one tomorrow and be able to tell you about it!
I put this one under personal, but I thought would share a few. For those of you who really know me, I love to make cakes (it has to be on my terms). This one was a joint effort and I think it turned out precious! My friend made all of these great pinwheels and I put them on the cake! I loved it because it covered up all of my mistakes…I had a lot of helpers that night.
I forgot to warn you that these were taken with 6400 ISO! They might be a little noisy.
What’s a shower without a few food pictures. The Pioneer Women (www.thepioneerwomen.com) would have been proud. My friend made her lasagna and it was AMAZING. I am really hungry now and all I really wanted to do was kill some time while my pictures uploaded!
I had a client ask me when I was going to post more pics from my trip…I promise, after the holiday season I will post more. Until then, isn’t this just a magical place? Now, I am off to more proofing.

This was fun and it’s one of the hardest cakes I have ever made, but my daughter’s favorite!
The American Girl dolls and products are so fun and youthful. 
You can find these great American Girl Doll Scrapbooking kits at a local Michael’s craft center. I am going today to see if ours have them yet! I know they do in Denver, Colorado.
